LULA RATLIFF
1897-1966

Lula Ratliff, 69, died Tuesday, March 7 1966, at 5:50 p.m. in
Ashland Hospital following an extended illness.

Funeral services were held Friday March 10 at 2:00 p.m. at the
First Church of God, in Paintsville with Rev. Tommy Reynolds
officiating.

Interment followed in the Highland Memorial Park at
Staffordsville , with arrangements by the Paintsville Funeral
Home.

Born March 28 1897 she was the daughter of Levi and Alice Adkins
Trusty.

She had lived in Catlettsburg for 11 years and was a member of
the Pentecostal Church.

Her husband, Sandy Ratliff, preceded her in death in 1960.

Surviving are two sons, Levi of Paintsville; and Carl of
Spartonsburg, South Carolina; a daughter, Lucille of
Catlettsburg; four brothers, Hendrix Trusty, of Lawrence Co
Ohio; E.L. Trusty, of Jacksonville, Florida; Miles Trusty of
Ashland; and Richard Trusty, Gary, Indiana; and three sisters,
Mrs. Millie Ratliff and Mrs. June Taylor, both of Catlettsburg;
and Mrs. Angeline Moore of Bellville, Michigan.
