Lorene Stacey Ratliff, 75, died Monday, February 16, 1981, in
Highlands Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Ratliff was born in Grundy, Va., Sunday, February 11, 1906.

She was a resident of Paintsville and a member of the Freewill
Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, James Ratliff; a son
Bob Collins, Lawrenceville, Ga.; three daughters, Jean Young and
Delores Baxter, Dayton, Ohio, and Avera Sparks, Castlewood, Va.;
nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Thursday, February 19, 1981, in
Jones-Preston Funeral Home chapel with Doug Burkett and Green
Boyd officiating.

Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, with
Jones-Preston funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
