RITES HELD SUNDAY FOR KATIE RATLIFF
Funeral services were held Sunday at the
Freewill Baptist Church for Mrs. Katie Ratliff, 69,
widow of Bud Ratliff, who died at her home Friday
evening June 11. Mrs. Ratliff was born in Johnson
County, the daughter of Dan and Margaret Ratliff Dale.
She is survived by eight children; Earl, Virgil, Russell,
Irvin, Jesse and Cissie Ratliff all of Paintsville, Denny,
Thealka, and Emma Van Hoose, Wittensville, also surviving
are three brothers, John and Jim Ratliff of Thealka and
Jessie, Betsy Lane. The services were conducted by
Rev. Don Fraley and burial was made in the family
cemetery on Turner Branch.
