John E. Ratliff, 42 died Friday, September 5 1980 in Martin Co
KY.
  
Mr Ratliff was born June 1 1938, in Johnson County,KY the son of
the late Leander Ratliff and Della Williams Ratliff, and was a
resident of Wittensville, Johnson Co KY.
  
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife Peggy Walker
Ratliff; a son Kenneth Ratliff, Wittensville; three daughters,
Tamera Lynn Robertson, Auburn Ky; Johnda Ratliff and Lydia
Ratliff, Wittensville; a sister Mary Devore, Lexington and one
grand child.
  
Funeral services were held Monday, September 8 in the Jones-
Preston Funeral Home Chapel with James Rice and William Rice
officiating.
  
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Johnson
Co, KY, with Jones-Preston Funeral Home handling arrangements.
