Life-long Resident of Barnetts Creek Succumbs Saturday
  
Mrs. Dolly Trimble Ratliff, 73, died at her home at Barnetts Creek
Saturday following an illness of two years.
  
A life-long resident of Barnetts Creek, she was the daughter of the
late Mr. and Mrs. Will Mart Trimble.
  
She was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church.
  
Surviving are her husband, John E. Ratliff; three sons, Farmer
Ratliff, Barnetts Creek, Freddy Ratliff, Staffordsville, and Gordon
Ratliff, Jackson, Michigan; three daughters, Mrs. Glade Fraley,
city, Mrs. Sadie Lemasters, Ashland, Mrs. Hoy Preston, Barnetts
Creek; 46 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were held Monday at the Fair View Freewill Baptist
Church with the Rev. Scott Castle and Rev. Charlie Lemasters
officiating.
  
Burial was made in the family cemetery under the direction of the
Preston Funeral Home.
