Chanry went out on a mini high defeating Chris in his last game before he is extradited to America. today's play of the usual high standard we have come to expect of chris, narrowly losing to rob 9-0, and then 9-2 before two more defeats at the hand of chanry.
Chanry surprised the crowd of one beating rob in their opening game, before Rob came back strongly whitewashing Chanry. Chanry still in second at the moment is unlikely to remain there during his year out and the favourite to capitalise at present is Richard, who was unable to make today's event.

Following recent embarrassment by the bottom two players in the league, a new player John was drafted in but suffered the same fate from the established players.
The doubles tournament started properly this week, with Richard and Rob ripping through the defences of Chanry and John, beating them 2-0. In the same game anger got the better of Chanry, and he lashed out at John causing internal bleeding and a career ending injury, we sent our best wishes to John in hospital and hope he comes out of his coma soon.

As the league entered the new year and Matchday 3 there was fresh hope for those who have 'underachieved' in recent fixtures. Following an almost fatal illness suffered by Chris, league manager, Chanry decided to draft in a more than able replacement in the form of Jordan.
After a promising start, winning his opening game, Jordan then slipped to 5 loses in a row a feat only surpassed by Chris. Chanry got off to a absolute flier battling his way to a 1-1 draw against Rob, while Richard started well against all his opponents, before suffering from fatigue and his fitness needs to improve if he wants to regain his previous high of second in the table.
