| This is a poem for my dear Blue Left teetering on the edge Whose body lies trembling As I watch through my looking-glass The little boy is silenced... Pain of a thousand lashings, eating away Lost in thought, such helplessness I can hear you whisper Though you hide yourself Behind your wall of weathered stone I have peeked through the cracks... You, overwhelmed by the departure of one From wounds unhealed You say it isn't fair The heart will tear With each new stress upon its back It will cry in desperation At its constant condemnation... Oh, Blue...not you... Though it hurts so much right now, Drink in this life, my friend Though you're worn, you're far from withered You, my friend, my Blue, Will find a way to shine |
