| we will feel love and never feel the need to hide it we will run through fields of goldspun our hair flowing freely in the breeze we will run until our lungs hurt because we can and we will laugh at ourselves at the little inside joke while onlookers gasp at our craziness we will not succumb to the laws of their world for it is not our own we will lay by the river our usual haunt and feel the sun on our skin we will let her rays caress our flesh i will trace your body with my fingertips and see how it feels to be part of the very essence of you your mouth will capture me and we will play our games without time limits without referees we will dance in the rain unafraid of the cold and the wet it will feed our soulful bodies and cleanse our minds we will have our dreams you will talk of the good old days of john, paul, ringo and george i will recite the poems i have written and we will let our words carry us away and feel the wind beneath our feet i will feel your sweet breath caress my ear as you whisper dearest, you know i love you i will lavish you with kisses and hold my hand to your heart rocking myself to the rhythm beating as constant as my love for you and we will never want for the old world the one we left behind this will be our world, blue and i will cherish every piece of it |
