As it relates to this course in the context of general comments regarding the fair, complete, objective, and unbiased presentation of theological ideas, scriptural interpretations, schools-of-thought, and doctrinal mind-sets, please refer to my written comments for CST 240, Pauline Letters.

I find comments consisting of ridicule and disparagement in the classroom of ("Benny Hin is a clown" and "those 'charlatans' at Trinity Broadcasting Network") OTHER expressions of Christian ministry that differ from those of the Southern Baptist Convention- or someone elses interpretation of it- to be inappropriate, highly offensive, judgmental, arrogant, and presumptuous. In the Pauline Letters we have in view an imperative to attain unity despite diversity. I do Not mean unity at all costs!!! However, such "non-essential" (my thesis/contention) doctrines of water-baptism, Calvinistic-election, Arminian-freewill, circumcision, dietary constraints, closed-communions, and the like do not express and contain the more important commonalities that are shared by most All of "mainstream Christianity" in the context of doctrinal statements of faith as it relates to the foundations and fundamentals of "The Faith".

"While among you I have 'concertedly and singularly'(my interpretation) proclaimed to you this 'basic and pure'(my interpretation) Gospel: Christ crucified and resurrected!!!"

I do Not see that manifesting a "critical/judgmental spirit" toward Christians whose "philosophies and expressions of ministry" differ from ours as Christ-like as it relates to the "Fruit of the Spirit".
