Blah blah blah, blah blah blah blah... blah blah.  Can I start my new life yet? ;) Actually, the past couple weeks haven't been bad.  My first week back from Delaware was also Joe's vacation, so we spent the second half of the week together... sooo great, we really needed some quality, unrushed time together.  But I also took a day and a half to drive to New Jersey and visit with my aunt.  That was awesome because it's been years since I've been to her house to visit.  Normally she comes to our house.  Coincidentally, Joe's parent's house is 5 min. or so down Rt. 10 from my aunt.  But Joe wasn't there. ;) He was in DC with his cousin for Brickfest... which the pictures were amazing.  Some people have such incredible patience and talent.  At the end of that same week, my grandmother came up from VA. to visit, so her and Joe got to meet.  Also very cool, especially since Joe has now been invited to come down to Newport News to visit her sometime.  Apparently she approves. ;)

I've also had a couple job interviews for secretarial/office manager type positions, but so far nothing has worked out.  I still have the subbing job that will start soon, and Star Sales still has me down if they need any temp./part-time help, but I'd really like something a little more stable, with benefits... and yeah, all the good stuff I'm looking for. :) This week there wasn't any work for me, so I spent hours in front of the computer each day, searching for more jobs and sending out my resume.

I also hung out with James last night/this morning, talking about
tons of stuff, and hopefully he'll be able to sleep a little better at night without all those questions and thoughts viciously circling around in his mind... I know the feeling sometimes.  It was really good to see him, we haven't hung out since March, though we talk regularly.  Mom went up to Pennsylvania today and tomorrow for an "important" car race.  Since she works for Firestone, she got a free ticket and gets to take advantage of all the hospitality stuff.

Oh yeah, Sean finally got his driver's license!!  It's so funny because I still haven't adjusted to the fact that he can go wherever, whenever he wants to, by himself.  I guess old mind habits die hard.  And he also started college this week, my baby brother is all grown up! ;) I feel old. ;) One last thing, I finally decided what I'm going to be for Halloween... you'll have to wait and see.

Delaware was a blast!! :) I'm not going to relate all the crazy stories, but there is one that is totally worth repeating.  I had made friends with several different people that were in the same boat as me... staying for the whole week but not being from the area so we didn't know anyone or have anything to do.  Anyways, two of the guys that I met were really good friends with each other, and they loved to pick on each other unmercifully.  Needless to say, this trip was no different and I became a conspirator. ;) Well, Joe (one of the managers) told me that we would be shrink wrapping Stan's car that day.  LOL  But we couldn't find shrink wrap anywhere in the store.  We had about five other people helping us look.  So at lunch time Joe spilled the beans to Stan what we would have done had we found the proper resources.  Well, later that day, after work, Stan and I went to BJ's and ended up buying 800 ft. of Saran wrap and wrapping Joe's truck while it was sitting in his hotel parking lot.  LOL  Yeah, people were probably staring, but it was soooo worth it.  Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures because Stan drove and my camera was in my car.  And this was just one of many events that greatly entertained me this week.  I was so happy to meet new people, get to know them, have them genuinely want to know about me, and make friends.  And it was nice to get away and not think about MD for a week... it made me really notice how much baggage I have here that keeps weighing me down and keeping me from... well yeah, if you
really know me, you know what I'm talking about.  Anyways, if you want to here more stories about my week, feel free to ask.

I saw Princess Diaries 2 on Friday night with my mom and Barbara.  It was sooo cute and funny.  I really liked it!  Then after the movie, we went into Baltimore and finally found Turner's!!  So we had drinks and hung out until the music was just a little too loud to talk over anymore.  We left about midnight and headed home... I had a blast!  I've decided that I don't like getting in big trouble or anything that brazen, but I do like to party.  Too bad most of the people I know aren't very extroverted in that way.  Then yesterday, Mom and I spent the whole day clothes shopping.  We love hitting big weekend sales and stuff, so we just hopped from store to store, mall to mall... and it was such a great mother/daughter bonding time.  My mom even went into Victoria's Secret with me and was totally laid back with it.  I really like the relationship that's slowly developing between her and I... we're starting to become true friends.

About 3 weeks ago I randomly found a new Hot Rod Circuit album.  I didn't even know that they had recorded anything new, but they have and it's sooooo good.  I tend to favor earlier albums by different indie emo bands, but I like the new songs and appreciate that they're sticking to their original sound and style.  I also realized that it's coming up on show season, so I need to find out when my fav bands are coming around the Baltimore area.

Ok, I'm so tired and I have a long day tomorrow... wish me luck.

Ciao!
