I finally uploaded the pics from both the end of the semester radio luncheon and my trip to San Antonio, Texas.  So check them out when you get the chance.  Texas was a lot of fun (and we all managed to get through it without strangling a relative, so that's an added bonus).  I was so happy to see my brother, I couldn't help it, I had been so worried about him for 7 weeks.  I don't want to say why, I'm just really glad he made it through and I'm sooooo proud of him.  He's in Biloxi, Mississippi at Keesler Air Force Base for school until the end of September.  Then he'll get about 10 days of leave before going to his duty station (yet to be determined).  He got a laptop from my mother, father, and me for any early birthday present so he's all set.

It's that time again... time to watch international soccer for a month straight!!  Yay World Cup Soccer!!  I'm much happier that it's in Germany this time instead of S. Korea.  Now I can watch the games during the day at work instead of having to stay up all night to watch the games.  (Like I did 4 years ago)  Elkyn and I are a hoot because Bill can always tell when someone scored... cheers or curses are being shouted from our offices.

This past weekend I went to Ohio with Drew for a family wedding.  It was a blast!  I've never been to Ohio either (a lot of firsts this month), I love weddings, and I love spending time with Drew.  So all around it was a great trip.  I've realized that I'm finally at that age where I get weepy at weddings... I'm such a sap.  Drew thinks I'm cute... and silly.

The first session of freshman orientation started today, and so far no serious problems.  We still have 4 more sessions left to go, but hopefully all will go well.  Other than that, it's very quiet around here and I'm liking that a lot.  Hopefully I'll be able to get away in July for a trip to Va. to visit some family but that's still up in the air.

I've completed a couple more cross-stitching patterns and I'm working on a 3rd.  What can I say, I'm hooking.  It's therapeutic!

I don't have any definite plans for 4th of July weekend, but there's a church BBQ on Sunday afternoon that I really want to go to and I want to see fireworks.  So even though details haven't been determined, we're heading down to Manhattan to see fireworks at some point over our 4-day weekend.  How awesome is that?!  A 4-day weekend!!  I'm super syked!

Well, that's it for now and I'll write again later... don't forget to check out the pictures!

Cheers!
