564959 PEPPER STEAK

Ingredients:
2 lbs. beef, round cut into 2 x 1/4
inch strips
1/2 c. butter, melted
Garlic powder
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 green peppers, cut into strips
1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
1 beef bouillon cubes
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. water
3 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. sugar

Preparation method:
Add beef to melted butter in skillet. Sprinkle in garlic powder to taste and cook, stirring slightly until browned. Remove meat add onions and green pepper. Saute 2 minutes. Return meat to skillet along with tomatoes and bouillon cube; simmer 5 minutes. Blend together cornstarch, water, soy sauce, and sugar. Stir into meat mixture and cook until thickened. Serve with whipped potatoes or rice. Can be frozen. Serves 6.
