| Rules General: Event is open to all Ford Mustangs from 1964-2004 All drivers must attend driver's meeting the morning of the event All vehicles must have proper safety equipment for their respective performance example: cars running faster than 7.90 must have a proper roll bar and seatbelts Courtesy staging: waiting to stage until both drivers have pre-staged will be enforced in ALL classes NO burnouts past the starting line except STAMPEDE class contestants Street tired vehicles must drive around the water box If your vehicle develops a problem during the run, pull over to the side as quickly and safely as possible to minimize clean up time Observe speed limit on track property Using the return road as a "testing ground" will not be tolerated. All decisions made by track officials or promoter regarding protests will be final All protests will be handled on a case by case basis HAVE FUN! Qualifying: All competitors will get 2 qualifying runs Competitors will be paired according to the closest qualifying times with the fastest running each other until the slowest are paired together Sandbagging will not be tolerated (no brake light racing) If the staging lanes are closed before you have made your qualifying run you have forfeited that run. If you don't get two runs in you don't race Stampede: -Run whatcha brung- Heads up No engine or power adder limit No tire limit or restriction Burnouts past starting line permitted Pro .400 tree Street V8: Heads up Pro .500 tree DOT legal street tires only 1 power adder allowed Engine must be in factory position Full interior, 2 front seats, lightweight replacements allowed. Back seat required, factory delete kit allowed Working head, tail and brake lights Proof of insurance and registration required Must have steel roof, doors and fenders. Fiberglass hood and trunk allowed Factory rear suspension - replacement upper/lower control arms allowed No 4 link or ladder bar suspensions Tubular front K-member allowed Vehicle may not be trailered to event Pony: Open to all 4 and 6 cylinder Mustangs All Street V8 rules apply Open Comp: Pro .500 tree Handicap start Dial-in is based on average of 2 qualifying runs. It cannot be changed from round to round .10 sec breakout allowed Any engine and power adder combination allowed Any tire allowed DOT or slick NO ELECTRONICS Throttle stops, crossover or delay boxes Bracket: (Subject to turnout) Full .500 tree Handicap start Dial-in determined by driver.
