Training

We train on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. On Tuesdays, we train in school. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, we train under Saga (Singapore Amateur Gymnastics Association). Usually our trainings start with the dreaded over split!

 
What over split is like. Boo.

Yup. Then we do kicks and walkovers and leaps and jumps and all that. And then we do conditioning! Boo hoo hoo. Conditioning is leg lifts and sit ups and push ups and all that stuff. Then we practise skills. Usually beam. And then we train and train and train until time's up! And by the end of training everyone's dead. But who cares, because we have a passion for gymnastics.

That's the hard side of being in artistic gymnastics I guess. Of course there's the fun parts, like going out for bubble tea, movies, parties and stuff like that. :) We're closer than a lot of CCAs I guess. It's the hard work and sweat that bonds.
