This is a quiet day on the sun.  So quiet, in fact, that instead of beng able to destroy many Earth-sized planets instantly, a single tentacle of plasma can only destory one.
This kind of puts things in perspective and gives a limited amount of truth to the statement "everything is relative."
So, please, next time things get to hectic, or loud or something like that, remember, it could be a lot worse.
