American Indian Quarterly: From the first issue, the journal has published traditional, descriptive scholarly studies

Native Peoples Magazine: Many of the articles in this edition of Native People�s magazine emphasize the integral

Northern Learning Network: A community learning network is a philosophy and an organization, linking together a
network of programs and services at the community level. A local governing body, committed to

Waseskun House Waseskun House, incorporated in 1988, is a charitable, non-profit and non-political
organization that operates the first and only totally Native community residential centre (CRC) in
the province of Quebec for First Nations men. The organization grew out of the work of a group
of volunteers, at the community level, who saw a need for such a facility and who voluntarily
operated the CRC during its first year of existence. Many within this original community group
are still involved as staff or Board members.
Weetamah
Newspaper: Weetamah is an Aboriginal newspaper produced and
distributed throughout Manitoba, Northwestern Ontario, Saskatchewan and Alberta. 10,000+
copies per issue are circulated to all First Nations and Metis communities, Tribal Councils,
Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal businesses and organizations. We publish monthly and the sole
form of financing our paper is through advertising revenues.
Woodland Cultural Centre:
The Woodland Cultural Centre, situated on the Six Nation Indian Reserve at
Brantford, Ontario, Canada, was established in 1972 to protect and promote the cultural heritage
of the First Nations of the Eastern Woodland area. The Centre has developed a reputation for
excellence locally, nationally and internationally and responds to client groups from communities
both aboriginal and non-aboriginal.
