ESPAOL PARA NATIVO HABLANTES
ESTUDIANTES DEL PERIODO 1
ESPAOL TERCER NIVEL
In my teaching I use a communicative approach based on concrete realities and a course content that combines a task-based instruction and a conversational approach to acomplish  oral proficiency.
In my Advanced Placement courses I incorporate Latin American literature, advance grammar,
syntax, semantic and phonology, art, traditions, music, and in particular research utilizing the www.
I  involved my students in the production of a website as their electronicportfolio.
I designed content-based activities in where I used interactive multimedia programs for the teaching of language.
My Web-Based projects focuses on five aspects of Latin America: history, literature, music, culture, and visual arts. Through computer graphics, data-base images, pictures, sound, music, quick-time movies and the appropriate bibliography, I try to open a new window to understanding other cultural groups.

For me, teaching a foreign language is not limited to the transfer of the rudiments of communication as seen in the language of another social or cultural group; it is, in fact the complex process of passing on skills and patterns in language that may in turn expose the student to new ways of thinking, to understanding the present and past thought and experiences of other cultures, and societies. Conversely, his/her own society is magnified.
This is one of the fundamental reasons that I encourage my students to include as much as possible technology into their  lenguage lerning activities.
