Transit of Venus across the sun in June 2004. This was a tremendously exciting event - and probably the only Venusian transit I will see my lifetime. I took the 4.5" Meade to my mum's school and hooked up the webcam to a monitor so that the kids could watch the event. I was pleasantly surprised by how much interest they showed ! |
