Fred Swain contribution Sacramento1-2, CA 2007 October 6 Although nearly impossible to make out, the Crookston roundhouse was located inside the Wye in the middle of the building complex seen here. It was built by the Great Northern sometime around 1930. It contained 9 stalls. Six stalls were 92 feet long and three were 100 feet long. The turntable was 92 feet. The roundhouse was sold to Simplot Potato Processors in the 1960's and was used as a warehouse. It was finally torn down sometime around 1988 or so.
