Neil has been a favorite of mine from the very early days. I sometimes go in and out of phases with him, as he does with his music,but most of the time he is my "go to" musician. Neil was a late bloomer on the net, but recently hit with a very big bang. Check out Neil's site. It is quite different and very original. In my opinion, the best unofficial Neil Young resource on the net is Hyperrust and the Rust List. If you would like access to a database containing virtually every Neil performance, set list,dates,etc, check out Sugar Mountain. Another Neil site and Mailing list is Human Highway.
Some disagree, but to me,

Peter Mayer is one of the most talented musicians and writers in the business today. There, I said it. Yes he is from my home town. Rest assured, that does not in any way influence me.Forget the fact that he is a guitarist and writer in Jimmy Buffet's Coral Reefer Band and has been for several years. Do yourself a favor and check out his site and sounds... Then go pick up "Green Eyed Radio" and "Spare Tire Orchestra". You won't regret it.
