| QUES 1. WHAT IF I CAN'T AFFORD THE PRICES? ANSWER: Come Anyway. You can stay in the dorms for free and the food is free for you. A few anonymous donors have indicated to me that they will cover any costs for people who can not afford the prices. QUES 2. If I stay at the camp, do I need to bring anything? ANSWER: Yes. All bedding, towels, and sleeping bags. There is a washing machine and dryer available. Click on the "Overnight Campers" on the Home Page. QUES 3. Are there refrigerators, ovens, etc? ANSWER: Yes. Freezers, refrigerators, popcorn machine, ovens, plates, cookware, etc. You can bring food or treats and store them all weekend long on the grounds. QUES 4. I am not staying at the camp site, can I still store my stuff there? ANSWER: Yes. QUES 5. What is the deal on the Fish Fry on Friday night? ANSWER: The Klein's and McFall's (thanks Wayne and Harry Lee) are providing a fish fry (smelt), and some broiled haddock, or a fish boil, depending on the year with the accompanying side dishes. Cost will be approx. $5. The money goes to the reunion fund to cover the cost of the fish and supplies. Any extra is donated to the reunion coffers. QUES 6: Do we need to bring plates, utensils, napkins, etc? ANSWER: No. Everything is provided as part of the full function kitchen. QUES 7: Since there is a Big Screen TV and VCR, does the camp also provide the videos? ANSWER: No. You have to bring your own video to the camp. Try to be sensitive to G rated or PG rated videos. QUES 8: Is a Keyboard, or piano provided at the camp? ANSWER: Yes. QUES 9: Will there be activities? ANSWER: Yes. Each year is a little different. If you have suggestions, or would like to volunteer write Doug at his e.mail ([email protected]) QUES 10: When will the talent show be coordinated? ANSWER: There will be a sign up sheet in the Pavilion in the Information Area called Reunion Center. You can sign up anytime up to the talent show and if you are so inspired come as a "walk on" at the end of the show. QUES 11: How much is golf and what's the format? ANSWER: Golf costs whatever the market price is at Fox Hills in Mishicot, or Fairview in Two Rivers. Usually reasonable. The usual "scramble" format. Depending on the participation it could be 3-somes, or 4-somes. Family reps will gather the numbers of people who want to play. |
