I love to read. I usually read at least one novel per week, and numerous other books. I make up stories in my head, but haven't written many of them down. Some of my favorite books are Les Miserables, by Victor Hugo; The Lord of the Rings and other books by J.R.R. Tolkien, Harry Potter books by J.K. Rowling, Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, and all of Lloyd Alexander's books. I love Shakespeare and have started an online discussion group called Illyria. Other authors I enjoy are C.S. Lewis, Louis L'Amour, Gerald Lund, Anne McCaffrey, L.M. Montgomery, Louisa May Alcott, Mercedes Lackey, and Raymond E. Feist.

I also enjoy drawing and making art. I'm taking a drawing class this semester and enjoy having some relief from my computer science classes. My favorite media are pencils, colored pencils, watercolors, pastels, acrylics, and oils. I am also fascinated by computer illustration programs and am trying to learn some of these on my own. Some of my other favorite passtimes are working on this website and using the internet, going to school, doing and making word puzzles, being part of Storytelling club, watching movies, and having fun with my friends. I have 5 great roommates this semester, and they make things very exciting! :)
