| July 11- Today showed us all why the burlington SK8park should actually be called the Burlington BIKEpark. I got to the park at about a quarter after six and there were only about four or five bikers, but by 7:30, I counted sixteen bikers, and about only 4 skaters. Now who would you say gets more use out of the park. The crazy thing is that, originally, bikers weren't even supposed to ride there. Anyways, almost every biker from Marysville all the way up to Ferndale was at the park. The sick trick award goes to David from Ferndale, and Mat from Marysville. David boosted a tabletop to x-up over the hip, and mat did a 540 tire tap on the pyramid to fakie, then turned it around, and manualed up the quarter into sprocket, then did a 180 out. Ferndale Sam was riding, after being out for 7 weeks, and had his JC frame. Jonny tried a bunch of tailwhips. Andrew gets the Raditude award for the year. There was too much going on to include everybody. Is all I can say is that almost every body did something good and should have a pic. on here, but I didn't get pics. of everyone. I did put 10 pics. on though, and they are pretty cool. So, Click here to see them. | |||||||
| June 22- I am finally home from Washington D.C. No I did not have my bike, but I wish I did. That place is loaded with cool street spots! You wouldn't last more than 30 seconds though, because security is mass tight there. There are more security guards in 10 feet, then there are in the whole city of Mount Vernon. I am super tired because I didn't get home from the airport until around 1:30 and didn't go to bed until after 2. Then I woke up at 8 this morning. I still need to get my back wheel fixed, because some skater punk face ran into one of my spokes and ripped it clean out. I should be out to Burlington tommorow so I can bust some 270 tables over the hip. Come back often for more news. maybe I will have some actual Bmx news tomorrow. Also look for new pics. tommorow or the next day. July 6- I've been talking to MTN about being an RFLer. It seems that he wants to be an RFL/EBGer, though. The only problem with that, is that EBG team manager, and big kahuna, Jonny says he can only be one or the other. Personally, I don't really care if he rides for EBG, sobe, etnies, elamenop, mountdew, 7-11, and RFL, all at the same time,. But oh well, I guess we will just see what happens. Not that it is a big deal or anything, I would just like to add person to the team section on the site. To see a picture of MTN in action, click on MTN in action. July 8- Today Johny, Jesse, MTN, Andrew, and myself rode at Burlington. It was fun. John kept trying ice pick to over on the spine but I think he only landed one or two. Jesse now has left side drive, and was trying opposite sprocket slides. He was also doing tire grabs over the spine, and pedal to over on the spine. I actually got Andrew to do a trick, but it was just for the camera. Other than that he just cruised around like usual. MTN was doing some flatty stuff, and is also the newest member of RFL. He is also riding for EBG at the same time. I did a couple big transfers, and some of my best lookbacks ever. I also did some wierd trick. to see that click here. It was a fun session. Look for some really good trail pictures on Thursday. But for now you can just look at the old trail pictures. |
