The last day of June was a crazy one. I pulled up to the Burlington skatepark at 5:45ish, (I was late because I had to mow me lawn.) I sat down to eat my taco bell burritos, and Johnayyy goes and boosts a top sided no-footed cancan over the hip. I haven't even seen him try one prior to this. I finished slopping my burrito all over myself and went straight into tailwhip mode. About 6 or 7 tries later I landed one straight to the pedals, but my right foot blew off because of the impact of the landing. The real kick in the pants though, was the fact that my pedal came whipping around at 100 miles an hour, and smacked right into my knee. This is when I decided to move on. Johnayyy was trying to land tailwhips on his top tube and came kinda close. About this time Jesse showed up, then his friend David, who likes to ride around the park with speed and go high over all the hips. Andrew and I started filming some of Johnayyy's no-footed cancans. We made him do them about 10 times, so we could get the good angles ya know. Actually, it was just funny to make him do them a bunch of times. While we were filming, MTN kid showed up, and goes hey, I was street riding earlier, and did a 540 tire tap, and I haven't even learned 360 tire taps yet. So, then we all rode and had a big happy session. Andrew didn't do any tricks as usual, and I was doing really small no footed-cancans on the wedge hip. Jesse was pedaling stuff, Johnayyy was being Johnayyy and doing all kinds of wierd things, and the MTN kid flowed around and did some wierd stuff with Jesse's bike.(See picture). |
