As you know, no compuer last forever, you've probably heard something about the great failure of the year 2000. If you haven't heard, if your PC is out of date, specially if it's made before the 1994, most likely it malfunction after the year 2000, depending on your BIOS. The BIOS is in charge of your computer's "life". It keeps track of Real Time. If your PC's BIOS is made before the 1994, the BIOS' clock has a prefix of 19 (this stands for 1900). After the year 2000, your PC will be lost in time, if you depend on the clock (like companies), I suggest you get an update soon! Also, if your hardware depends on time, or is some how related to time, it will most likely malfunction. DOWNLOAD "YEAR 2000" TO SEE WHEN YOUR BIOS CLOCK EXPIRES!

INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW UNZIP YR2000:

1. download yr2000
2. use any unzip program such as unzipwin or winzip
3. extract or unzip all files to C:\YR2000

INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO RUN YR2000:

1. after unzip, extracting to c:\yr2000
2. go to START menu and click on SHUT OFF or SHUT DOWN
3. click on RESTART IN MS-DOS MODE
4. you will appear at: c:\windows
5. use cd.. to reach the root directory
6. once you are in c:\
7. type cd yr2000
8. you will be at: c:\yr2000\
9. type 2000

Notice the LEAP YEAR in the process, that will tell you the expiration of your BIOS, when results are done, it will notify if your PC's ready for the year 2000.
