In December of 2001, I saw the feature film "Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring," the first film based on the popular trilogy of fantasy books written by British author J.R.R. Tolkien.  Of course, I had heard about the books in the media, from other people, etc.  After watching the movie and discovering the magic of the world Tolkien created, I decided that I had to read the trilogy.  In the spring and summer of 2002 I began reading the books, and am currently continuing to do so.  Thus far, the books have had a great hold on my imagination, and they are definitely some of the best I've ever read, if not THE best. 

On this page, I will link to various pages about Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, J.R.R. Tolkien, and all the other related subjects.

Thoughts on LOTR (I may or may not make this page, depending on whether I feel I have anything to say).
