| Patsy Gordan I met Patsy when I transferred to the Publi Relations department. She was the Director's assistant. We became friends and enjoyed a fun working enivorment. There were many times, I would borrow money to Patsy. When the Director was appointed Leech Lake's Executive Director, Patsy became the Executive Director's assistant and demanded a payraise to $18.00 per hour. When the political change started to happen, Patsy held onto her job as Executive Assistant. She would come to me and tell me she hated working for the new Executive Director, Rocky Papasadora. She had a long list of reasons why she hated this man. Then the tribe appointed Gerald White as the new Executive Director. This is when Patsy started to smuggle documents out of her office. I found her sending notes to Archie LaRose about what her friend Judy Hanks was up too. She even send Judy Hank's contract to the Native American Press, who published Judy's contract along with Judy's personal information, such as, her social security number. When Patsy was given a deal from Pete White, Archie La Rose, both on the Tribal Council and Gerald White, Executive Director, she accepted after she demanded a payraise of 55 thousand a year. This deal was my job. After all the friendship, she stole my job. She does not have a formal education or experiance in the journalist and graphic design field. Gerald White Gerald was the director who I worked for when I was hired as Program Director for Anishinabe Bimadiz. During my time there, I started to see questionable procedures perform by Gerald. Like, going to EVERY meeting anywhere He racked up quite a bit of travel and mileage. I found out that his paycheck was going toward child support and that travel and mileage checks were not counted toward child support, so that's how he made money to live on was with racking up milage and travel reimbursements. When I started to attend to my program's budget, I saw a lot of purchases that I did not request. Purchases like 100 pendleton blankets, artwork framed, photo's developed and mileage. I went over the budget with accounting and they showed me the invoices that Gerald submitted. I brought this to his attention, he told me that he will take over the programs budget and it would no longer be my responsibility. He said that the 100 pendleton blankets were for his communities powwow's giveaway. I went to the powwow and did not see any blankets given away. But, curiously his wife started her native craft business with totebags, vests made out of PENDLETON BLANKETS. After a co-worker physically threaten me and Gerald took the side of this person, I realized that this job was not for me. I transferred to another department. My new director told me that Gerald called her up and slandered my work habits. |
