"Do the Mennonite Tonight"

Rez Dwellah
featuring MC Love Pump and DJ Kro

Praise God from whom all blessings flow...

From the J to the E to the SUS
The JC, GOD, HS, they bless
Throughout, our generations with the sickest 'ie'
So as followers of the afformentioned, we can strive to be.

His name was Menno Simons, he was some sorta priest.
He stirred up the church, "The greatest shall be least."
He ran into trouble wherever he be,
'Cause he developed a theology for peeps like you and me.

Don't matter if you ain't a reverend or a pastor,
'Cause here we got the priesthood of all believers.
But to be a believah, you got to make a choice:
To join in commune under God; heart, mind, soul, body, voice.

Now, some may sprinkle while others dunk (word)
As long as it's water, I'm down with that funk.
I ain't talkin' 'bout the Andy or the Marco, those men.
I'm talkin' 'bout the B-A-P-T-I-S to the M.

DJ Kro Turntable Solo. "Simple Livin'"

Society don't know what hit 'em.
We're bringin' 'em down/up with our kind critimacism.
'Cause in PSAC we are big into canibalism;
We devour the heads of capitamalism.

'Cause the world is in distress, it is a cess
pool. From the west, comes the urge to oppress.
I must confess, I contribute to the mess.
It's time to reassess, a time for selflessness.
I wanna help, I guess, so I give more, spend less.
When they ask, I say "yes", and I press to test the rest.
But I digress.

Faire mousser sur les cheveux mouilles
Bien rincer, repeter si desire.

You know we're into simple livin'
We suffice on what we're given
We got no need for politicians
They're just fancy-pants magicians
With whom money disappears
Like a rabbit in a hat
Or during hunting season
'Cause "killing's where it's at"

They say that great minds think alike.
Well, true dat with the Mennonite.
We'd all win in the lotto mix.
We'd pick the same numbers: "606"

You know I like the peace, and I hate the bomb.
I'm related to you, your 3rd cousin's my mom.
Though I don't throw my hands up in the air when I praise,
It's still the same God, for now and always.
