Garden in July Continued
This is Karl Foerester, Feather Reed Grass in front of Maximillian Sunflower.  Was a very small section taken from the mother plant last fall. Will be fuller next time around.
This is another south bed.  Here in this pic are Clarkia, Feverfew, Chives which were cut back to 3" a month ago, and some Purple Coneflower (Ecinacea purpurea) that should be blooming here in a matter of a week or two. All wintersown except for the Feverfew.  Last year I had purple Wave Petunia's in the empty spot you see and was hoping to have some re-seeders (sigh).
Pretty combination of Chinese Forget-Me-Nots and Viola.  In the back is a row of Plains Coreopsis in front of a row of Maximillian Sunflower that is out of the picture.  The Plains Coreopsis has had it's first 2 blooms as of yesterday but will post a pic when they fill out.  I have some that are solid burgandy, yellow/red and white/yellow.  All these different colors were un-expected but delightful  and came in the same pack of seed ordered from Lonnie's Bulk Seed. A ton of seed per pack and cheap!
This is the wildflower bed on  the eastside, where it gets plenty of sun until about 3 pm even with my Cherry Tree which is completely loaded right now!
Alyssum and a Catmint reseeder that I moved this early spring.  South loction.
More Chamomile just about ready for 3rd harvest
