What have we studied about FOOD in our current unit?
Well I have studied about radishes and the process of growing. Radishes like all plants need water as their main source for growing. Some plants like radishes can grow without soil. We have also studied in our chapter book about food and why people need food. People need food to survive and stay healthy. There are three things that foods provide carbohydrates, protein and lipids. Humans also need minerals and vitamins.

Well one thing I have changed as a result of my studies is I don�t throw food away much as I used to because I learned that there is not enough food for everybody in the world. People are starving to death and it not fair for people who do have food to throw it away.
