Metal Gear Solid: What is to Happen?
So what is to happen into Metal Gear Solid 3?  All we know is that Otacon found the Patriots but they all died 100 years ago.  A name was one of the biggest contributers of Philanphropy.  Ocelot is still alive.  What is Liquid's motives for attacking the Patriots?  What will the Patriots do without GW.  What will be the next Metal Gear.  What will Snake do?  Will Raiden be back.  Here are some of my ideas.
There was a fake version of Colonel Roy Campbell, created by the Patriots in MGS2.  What does the real Campbell think of this?  I think that he may return as a hostage and that Snake has to rescue him from the Patriots.

Snake is still infected with FOXDIE.  Also he is on the verge of death at genetic level due to his cloning.  Will he eventually die, or is there a way to save him.  He is unlikely to die in the next game I think.

I do not believe that either Raiden or Rose will be back.  It is more likely that the two are now happily married and have that child to look after.  He now lives a different life, away from the Patriots and the military.  He would not really 'fit in' to a sequel unless Konami could think of something clever.
Meryl Silverbough may be expected to return, since Ocelot said to Solidus at the end of MGS 1, he would keep tabs on her.  Also she appears in Metal Gear 2 Substance, so I think this is true.

New characters will appear, I am sure.  Especially a new Metal Gear.  The Patriots may own it, or another group of terroists.

Vamp cannot die twice and mysteriously disappeared in MGS 2.  Will he be back for revenge on Ocelot for the death of Fortune? or will he remain a villain and attack Snake?
