James Bond 007
An agent working for MI6 British Intelligance, James Bond, 007 is licenced to kill.  He will get any mission done, what ever the risks and will have 'special rewards' as well.  Most of his private life is unknown.  We do know that his parents died in a climbing accident.  His wife was murdered by his former arch enemy- Ernst Starvo Blofeld, leader of the criminal organisation Spectre.  He always, without fail, gets to sleep with thousands of women.  Lucky him!
Five actors have played James Bond: Sean Connery (pic below), George Lazenby (I hope that's spelt right), Roger Moore, Tim Dalton and Piece Brosnan (the upper pic).

M
M is James Bond's boss, in charge of MI6.  There have been three M's.  All of them feel that Bond is the best agent but they do never tell him this.  Instead, they are very strict on Bond and disapprove of his attitudes towards women.  Three have played him: The late Bernard Lee, Robert Brown and Judi Dench (the pic below).
Q
Q is in charge of all the gadjets made for 007 for his missions.  The only problem is he never returns them intact, which has often fustrated Q.  Maybe one day...
His assistant R took over as Q (after his retirement) and likes to make the longest descriptions possible.
Q was played by Desmond Llewellen, who tragically died in a car crash (pic to the right).  John Cleese plays R and the new Q. (See pic above Desmond).

Ernst Starvo Blofled
The leader of Spectre, once known as 'number one', was once Bond's arch enemy.  His face was hidden for many years and Bond took a while to actually meet him.  He had an obession with stroking his cat and his goal was to start World War Three.  He was also responsible for the death of James Bond's wife.  He was killed in the film 'For You're Eyes Only' after a failed attempt to finish Bond for good.
Several Actors played Blofeld, including
Tele Slalavas, Donald Pleasance, Anthony Dawson and Charles Grey.  Pleasance is the most memorable (pic on left).
