Short Story

REY ADEL'S
SHORT STORY
"TEARS AT SUNSET"

He opened the envelope. It read:

 I've loved living
    and lived loving this world,
But now, I must go and rest.

When I'm gone, and leave you behind
    please kiss me good bye
 After the sun had set.

 Please don't bring me flowers
    on my death bed,
 Just go on living, loving
    for my stead.

    -- January 01, 1989

It was signed Marie Verna Mata Vergara.

Now, he was the one crying.
