REY ADEL'S
SHORT STORY
"TEARS AT SUNSET"

Marie was so beautiful that Saturday. Her eyes were full of love. She was full of vigor herself. She met him at their doorstep. "Tom, you're too handsome for words," she greeted him.

"And you are too beautiful that a painter could not do justice," Tom replied.

"Come on, let's go. I hate missing each minute of this day," she said after her mom consented for a stroll.

They went to a nearby park where they could wait for the sunset. They fell in love with it for it was what made them friends.

"Sunset here is so amazing they said. Look at the birds," she pointed at them perching on the trees. "They seem to enjoy the view like us."

"Birds are only appreciating the beauty of nature. How could man destroy their natural habitat? One day man will be sorry for what he did with nature," Tom muttered.
