Systemic Lupus Erythematosus
If you get to know me, you get to know at least a little something about Lupus.  Lupus is an autoimmune disease that affects your organs and joints.  I once heard it described like this, "In Lupus a person's immune system treats his or her body as if it were a cold or a virus or something else that doesn't belong there.  And the immune system will keep attacking the body until it finally wins."

Symptoms
There are far too many symptoms to list them all.  A few of the more common symptoms, however, include:  joint pain, general not feeling well, discord rash (that usually takes the shape of a butterfly on the face), fatigue, sore throat, kidney malfuncion and susceptability to colds or infection.
