I bought a little 1.5" Carapinte back in Febuary 2002. The little guy went into the 500g with some larger 3-5" cichlids. I originally thought he probably wouldn't make it with all of those bigger cichlids around, and called him a "Feeder Fish" for several days. But he did just fine and is now pushing 5". He is very attractive with his dark gray background color and large pearly blue spots, and attracts much attention from viewers. He is also very peaceful with the other fish and I have never had problems with him fighting. This is definantly a fish that I would recommend to others. You wll not be disapointed with the coloration or personality of this fish. |
