Four Ways To Fulfill the ISC Language Requirement

  

1. Successful completion at Oberlin of Chineese 202, French 203 or 206, Japaneese 202, German 204, or Spanish 203.

2. Placement into three-hundred-level foreighn language courses at Oberlin.

3. Advanced Placement Credit of 4 or higher in French or Spanish

4. CEEB Achievement scores of 625 or higher in French or Spanish

Non-native speakers and students seeking to meet the requirement with languages not taught at Oberlin should consult the Committee chair.
