Bible plainly say's how we must be saved, so we will go to God's word for the answer.
1. Romans 3:23 " For ALL have sinned,and come short of the glory of God." (ADMIT you have sinned)
2. Luke 13:3,5 " I tell you, Nay: but, except ye REPENT,ye shall ALL likewise PERISH." (TURN FROM ALL SIN)
3.Romans 10:9 " That "IF" thou shalt CONFESS with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,and shalt BELIEVE in thine HEART that God hath raised him from the dead,thou shalt be saved."
Instructions AFTER you get saved:
1. You were bought for the price of Jesus blood that was shed on the cross.
1Cor. 6:20 " For ye are bought with a price: therefore GLORIFY God in body,and in your spirit, which are Gods.
2. KEEP his commandments. John 14:15 "IF" ye love me KEEP my commandments.
3.Deny self and the worldly lust that the devil will tempt you with. Crucify the flesh! Titus 2:12 "Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lust,we SHOULD LIVE soberly,righteously,and godly,IN THIS PRESENT WORLD."
4. Live HOLY for God you are now a SERVANT of God. Romans 6:18 "Being then made FREE from sin ye BECAME the SERVANTS of righteousness(Jesus).
5.Show your faith BY your works. As a christian you need works wrought with faith. James 2:18 " Yea a man say, Thou hast faith,and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith BY MY WORKS. (works alone doesn't save you, Jesus shed blood saves you but your works PROVE your faith.)
6. Abide or continue being faithful to Jesus and be an overcomer.
John 15:6 " If a man abide not in me,he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into FIRE, and they are BURNED. Matt 24:13 "But he that shall ENDURE unto the END, the same SHALL BE SAVED."
Follow these guidelines above, read your bible to obtain faith and attend church regulary and make not provision for the flesh. In other words if you WERE a drunkard. DON'T go around those who drink! Don't allow satan the opportunity to tempt you. The spirit is indeed willing but the flesh is weak! READ ONLY the KJV bible and pray. You must have a relationship with God. Church and bible study will not get you to heaven but as a born agian christian you must obey God and forsake not the assembling of the body of Christ (christian people). Seek the gift of the Holy Ghost this is God's gift to all those who OBEY him. Its REAL regardless to what others may tell you. READ your bible and trust God's word not man's. As you grow in faith IF you fall pick yourself up in Jesus name and read 1Jhn 2:1-3. Ask God to forgive you in Jesus name and DON'T do it agian less a worse thing come unto you. Don't use your liberty or freedom as a license to sin. Remember satan can never make you do anything only offer or tempt you. Its your choice to stay true to God and live and be in heaven or backslide and die spiritually and if you die in sin hell awaits you. Remember Once saved Always saved is a lie read your bible and you will see. SIN WILL NOT ENTER HEAVEN. How you die is how you remain. Rev 22:11 " He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filth let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him remain righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still."Also read Ezek 18th chapter proves christian can TURN from the lord and die spiritually and go to hell if they don't repent.
