Other Skating Activities: I am an accredited Judge and also skate myself. I retired from freeskating in 2000 after winning the State Title for Senior Ladies Freeskating. In 1996 I achieved my Gold Medal in Freeskating Proficiency level. In 2004 I competed in Figures and Solo Dance in the Masters grade (winning Bronze medals in both disciplines) and was selected to compete at Oceanias in 2005.
Beyond Skating: Mum to Samuel (2 yrs) and wife to Darren. Darren and I have just celebrated our 10th Anniversary. I also work 3 days a week as a Dental Hygienist.

Coaching Ethic/Style: I love to make sure my students have fun when they skate, but I am quite a hard teacher and I expect my students to work.
Training Sessions: I coach Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Achievements in Coaching: I only have very new skaters, but they are doing very well and are continuing to progress in competitions and bar tests.

Beyond Skating: I am studying year 12 at high school and maintaining an "A" grade average on all my subjects.

Coaching Ethic/Style: I am happiest when my skaters are enjoying their skating, I want my students to want to come to their lessons. I believe in working with my students, to help them to achieve their goals and skate to the best of their abilities. I expect my students to work hard, but do my best to keep them motivated to keep improving.
Training Sessions: Wednesday night (5:30-7:30pm) & Saturday (7:30-9:00am & 11:30am-2:00pm)
Achievements in Coaching: The majority of my skaters are very early in their careers and they have been achieving well in their competitions & tests to date & have shown steady improvement. This year, for the first time, I have trained a Mini Precision team through State and National Titles.
Activities in the Club: Member of the Executive: Communications Officer & competitive skater.
Other Skating Activities: In addition to skating competitively, I am hoping to obtain my Referee's commission in the near future.
Beyond Skating: I am a registered Solicitor & am currently completing my final year of training to be a Doctor
Other Comments: I will be starting full time work as an intern at the RBH next year and as such my coaching times may well be limited and irregular, which means that my students will need to be a little flexible in their lesson times.
