NO ONE FOR PRESIDENT
"There's an ocean of unpleasantries we are not prepared to face."

"We can't do nothing and think someone else will make it right."

The current focus of NO ONE FOR PRESIDENT is the demand for the ratification of the KYOTO PROTOCOL, the first international treaty on Global Climate Change. The current President of the United States, George W. Bush, has rejected the treaty, claiming it would economically unsustainable. This is a rediculous assumption, seeing as how the protocol does not even require the greenhouse gas reductions to occur before 2008. We will continue putting presure on the US government, but the treaty must be ratified, with or without the US. For educational information about climate change, visit the website of KYOTO NOW. For more details, go here. We'll be working in the next few weeks to bring you more articles and information, as well as a petition that you can download and get your friends/relatives/neighbors to sign and send to your senator! Together we hold the potential to reduce global climate change and defend our natural environment from the ravages of industrial society.
