Plantation++ (5/8/07)

A little over a week ago I started work on my newest project, Plantation++.  Basically, it's a very primitive, text based port of Sims 1862: Plantation.  As you can see from the screenshot, it sucks.  Mainly I am working on this to improve my C++ skills, but I still am planning to finish it and eventually release it here on my site.  Plantation++ is very heavily based on Sims 1862: Plantation (as I said before, it's basically a port), but I am adding a few features such as more slaves, a save system, etc. and I will be forced to remove the graphics present in the original because you really can't do decent graphics with a standard .exe file.  This summer, I am planning on porting Plantation 2 to the Nintendo DS and maybe even starting on Plantation 3, which could be in z80 assembly for the TI-83+/84+ (which I highly doubt because assembly is very hard!) and/or for the DS.  I am also planning on getting the TI Nspire when it is released, so expect another, better version of Plantation in early 2008.

As far as other projects go, I recently released my Pascal's Triangle Solver on ticalc.org.  I will also be adding to my Open Source file on ticalc as well as to my tutorials as soon as I find the time.
