At the 2nd OKR Annual Golf Tournament at Kingswood Golf Course on August 20, 2006, the Champion Team led by Sir Dr. Rudy Padua won the much coveted SIR DR. ROLAND & DR. IRENE GUZMAN CHAMPION GOLF TROPHY . At the Youth Recognition Awards Night on Oct. 6, 2006. at PCCM, 14 young Filipino-Canadians were honored for their academic and leadership excellence by the Knights of Rizal under the leadership of Sir Ka Miling Silverio, KGCR, Regional Commander for Canada; Sir Dr. Romy Magsino, KGOR, Regional Deputy Commander for Canada; Sir Dr. Roland Guzman, KGOR, Canada Regional Advisor; Sir Rev. Dr. Neil Parado, KCR, Area Commander for Western Canada; and Sir Dr. Tom Colina, KCR, Chapter commander. Sir Felino de Jesus is the Chair of the YRA Committee .
