The Legend Started away at one certain Chesterfield match where the drum was first seen. The county had made it to the first division, and the drum, being played by Liam Dawson was born. Ever since that day, the drum has been seen both home and away following the county from Mansfield to Norwich, and from Carlisle to Sweden. The drum has become a part of Stockport County. Firstly one, mentioning no names, fat, ugly and boring Bastard, began to complain to the club. But the club stood firm and continued to back the drum, official endorsed by Steve Bellis. But after the council recieved complaints, the story took a turn for the worse. The council threatened that the drummer could get arrested and must be banned. So the club obliged and banned the drum. How can you complain about noise at a football match? Do the residents around Maine Road complain about the cheering on the rare occasions when City score? No! This stupidity must stop as something so unimportant has been blown way out of proportion. I urge you to do your bit and take a minute to help the campain.
