There is one question each one of us asks ourselves from time to time. It's this: Is there something more to life than I'm experiencing? Is there more than I can see? What happens when I die? This question, asked three different ways, haunts us unless and until we find the answer. There is more to life than we allow ourselves to experience. We try to meet our emotional and physical needs, but we forget about the spiritual. How do we meet our spiritual needs?

Some people have suggested that there are as many ways to find God as there are religions. As Pastor Rick Warren of Saddleback Valley Community Church says, that's like saying you can dial any number on your phone you want and still reach your home. That kind of thinking doesn't make any sense! There is only one way to God and that is through Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for our disobedience to God. There is no other way!

Find the spiritual meaning you need in life through a personal, loving relationship with Jesus Christ. There is simply no other way to find peace in this life and hope for the life to come. There is no other way to get to heaven. Tell Jesus that you have been disobedient to God, that you need His forgiveness, then ask Him to forgive your disobedience to God, invite Him into your heart and life, and trust and follow Him as your Lord and Savior. Find peace in life through personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He'll transform your heart and life and give you hope!

The Hawes family of Lebanon, Oregon consists of Brian, Kim, David, and Daniel. We enjoy going to the beach, listening to Christian and classical music, movies, and family fun.

Kim is getting started on her second year teaching full-time in the Lebanon school district. It is actually her sixteenth year of full-time teaching (the other fourteen being in southern Wasco County) after six years of substitute teaching. She loves good books (mostly Christian romances), counted cross stitch, crafts, working in the yard, singing in the Lebanon Community Chorus, and, above all else, shopping at thrift stores.

Brian served as pastor of the Sodaville Evangelical Church of Sodaville, Oregon for over six years. He has earned a Master of Ministry degree from the Pacific Evangelical School of Ministry. He is currently working as a police dispatcher for the City of Sweet Home, which he finds to be both enjoyable and challenging. He loves good jokes, Christian rock, alternative and rap music, counted cross stitch, playing video games, working on the computer, and Christian sci-fi. He is also an avid Star Trek fan and sings in the Lebanon Community Chorus. He blogs fairly frequently on MySpace.

David is in his sophomore year at Western Oregon University, studying to become an English and journalism teacher. He is in the honors program. He spent the summer of 2007 working at Cannon Beach Christian Conference Center on the northern Oregon coast.

Daniel is a senior at Lebanon High School. He loves playing with Legos, video games, Veggie Tales, and Yugi-Oh and Naruto. He enjoys most PS2 games, especially Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy, as well as Nintendo Wii. Daniel also sings in the Lebanon Community Chorus. He is interested in becoming a chef after he graduates.

Our site focuses on our love of Jesus Christ, who is the only way to eternal life and to know God personally. This page will also focus on music, education, and Christian issues.
