Late evening, massive headache, what a combo!  Anyway, here I was expecting a cease and desist letter for the powers that be at DC Comics to take down my "Romantic Fantasies" stories down...even after being accepted by the Fanfic Webring!

I'm glad I was, don't get me wrong, and I do see that I've gotten more visits since being accepted last September.  Part of me regrets not finishing the Shayera diaries before going the opposite way and going all original, breaking all ties from my "fanfic roots" ... but I can't go back.

I tried writing a cross-over story, and couldn't get past the first few sentences.  The basic idea was in true Star Trek fashion: Reverend Justice is sent to the DC Universe where he wonders "How the hell did I get here and how do I get back to my own world?"

My original idea had him swapping places with Nightwing due to some freakish incident; my second idea had him swapping places with his original "DC Comics influenced" self ...

But I can't go back.  I'm nearing the "Big Bang" confrontation preceding the conclusion, and Joey and Sheila are solid; like I was saying before, I can't go back now.
