Why must long weekends be so tiresome? Man oh man; either Thai food doesn't agree with me or I had a seriously potent stomach virus...and it just wouldn't ease off over the course of Sunday and Monday; the Immodium helped but thank God for Gatorade!

At any rate, my Esoteric Squad is progressing well.  I needed a rogue element and I think I've come up with one.

Thus far I have kept my villains likeable to a certain degree,I have given them redeeming qualities, made them human.

On purpose, I have made this new character void of any redeeming qualities; though his dark sense of humour may appeal to some.

He is calculating, slipperier than an Eel and with a laugh reminiscent of a hyena; he draws pleasure form danger, fear and pain; his own included.

Some may recognise in him hints of Frank Gorshin, others will see shades of Peter Fonda, others will see Donald Sutherland.

I have made it a point to keep his origins as vague as possible; in fact he has conveniently forgotten who he really is.

Under a false identity (based on his childhood hero, an amalgam of Buddy Rogers and Billy Graham)he had enlisted in the Navy more for the thrill of danger than for the training that would make him lethal.

I have this idea of a silly ditty he sings to himself as he eludes Mobsters and Cops alike...

Through the rats and the roaches and the raw sewage; Crazy Sterling makes his way in the nude; if he gets caught he does not care, 'cause he's not afraid of death, boy; Sterling ain't afraid of death!

Nutty enough for you? ;-)  Ciao for now!
