Well, I was hoping that the rewrites and refinements to my existing stories would trigger my muse for my two pending stories, Solidarity and The Curse of Cronus.  Finally, it has!

Rather than the pleasant happy ending (which I usually prefer) I am going for a "impending sequel" ending to Solidarity: an ending that's a lead-in to The Curse of Cronus.

Not that it's an unhappy ending or a sad ending; just an ending that leaves the reader with unanswered questions.  I may end up getting rid of a bunch of filler material and expound a bit more on the other characters in the story, as once again the story has taken a turn to "Joey loves Shayera" ... hey, I said I had an idea for a conclusion, not that the story was satisfactory!

I mean, to this day I find things I'm not quite happy with in my older stories, improvements and refinements that improve the overall coherence of the narrative.  Have I become over-perfectionnist?  Oh no!
