Entry for February 14, 2007

Okay, where to start?  Solidarity is crawling its way to a conclusion while The Curse of Cronus (yes, it's spelled "Cronus" my mistake for spelling it "Chronos") is moving well into its dénouement.

I must once again give mega kudos to Wikipedia which has made my research a breeze.  While many facets of Olympus come from my own fertile imagination, I wanted to have my facts straight concerning certain Greek gods, goddesses and the like.  More to come as I revisit the future of the Justice League via Mount Olympus! ;-)

The love of my life Rina is well on the road to recovery.  The scars are healing well, and the bruising is completely gone...now she is going through what her surgery sisters refer to as swell hell ...not fun.

Still, she should be back at work next week.  Since the one task that was making her life impossible at work has been handed over seemingly for good; and since she's recieved kudos for her training manual, at least she can return to work without too much on her mind.

My Cinematographer buddy MJ is on the road to recovery himself, and job hunting.  All the best to him as he tries to heal.  Hopefully his project Ashita will still see the light of day.

We're on for Beer and Batman this Friday - or at the very least Cranberry Juice and Batman ;-) since he was advised to ease up on the caffeine and alcohol.

Me, I can't wait to start exercising again.  I've been itching to record another song cover (a Blue Rodeo one near and dear to Rina and I) but find I'm usually too tired when I get home from work ...

I found a pre-viewed copy of Superman Returns at The Queen of Video.  And as was the case with my DVD copy of Batman Begins, I only paid $8.99 and taxes rather than the full $25.00 most stores wanted for it brand new.

According to my Amazon.ca account, I should be getting my Season 2 JLU DVD's and my Teen Titans Trouble in Tokyo in early April.  I can't wait!

I'm also expecting a replacement battery for my old laptop.  Didn't pay much for it ($28.00 + shipping) and the seller has 100% positive feedback, and the battery is guaranteed not to be DOA ...having a battery that keeps its charge will help.  I intend to use the laptop so Rina can view DVD's when we travel, and having a working battery will avoid many a hassle.

Okay, t's all for now folks!
