Okay, Merry Belated Christmas and a Happy Hannukah!  The Recruit, Enter the Reverend and Brotherly Love have been re-written in a way I'm more comfortable with them - I'm actually much happier with them.

Bits and pieces you know - such as Billy Badson and sister Molly finding in Joey's family the family setting they had always longed for, and Joey's Mom figuring out all on her own that Reverend Justice is her son and that Hawkgirl is the woman he loves.  I find the stories more enjoyable now.

And, I confess, after dealing with a bit of writers block; I have resumed writing Solidarity.  Again, bits and pieces linking the beginning of the story to its conclusion - Stargirl and Orion making their peace for instance, and silly factoids such as Black Canary being a Kiss Army member when she was a little girl!  ;-)

I won't give away all of the twists and turns; but if I do say so myself the story is taking so many interesting turns that I don't quite know when to write "the end" ;-)

Not bad for a story that started out as a scene with no plot line or story!
