All right ... spent the weekend fighting off a cold - the sore throat, the general drained feeling, the headache and the difficulty sleeping (woke up each time I swallowed) ...

But 2 days later I'm pretty much over it, other than a bit of residual scratchiness in the throat, minor congestion and overall fatigue I still went to work and did my thing... the Vitamin C and my "I'm Superman" mantra is really working! ;-)

Sweetening the mix of my Beatles cover 'I'm Only Sleeping', the main tracks are finally down.  I'm still trying to figure out a way to post my MP3 covers without exceeding my allotted Megs ... just so my Cyberpals can have a listen to me sing and to my shaky guitar playing ;-)

I'm thinking of doing a Blue Rodeo tune next. 

My buddy MJ says the shooting of his movie Ashita is driving him Batty (his Bat-pun not mine!) and he can't wait for the project to come to fruition.  Mega mojo going your way bro!

I dawns on me that one month to the day today is Rina's new surgery date.  Hopefully she stays healthy for the next 30 days and she can focus on recovering for surgery.  I sent a friendly reminder to my Supervisor that I'll be off for 2 weeks next month.

Solidarity is still going through some major re-writes - unavoidable if I want the story's narrative to make any sense (like, hey, where's the Lasso?  She never picked it back up!) and I'm bidding on a Hawkgirl action figure for Rina ... too bad there isn't a Reverend Justice action figure out there ... but I could improvise something! ;-)
